Simone Ramello (he/him)

I am a first-year PhD student in the Logic group at WWU Münster, under the supervision of JProf. Dr. Franziska Jahnke and Prof. Dr. Martin Hils. My main research interest is the model theory of valued difference fields. I am also interested in applications of the model theory of fields to algebra and geometry.

My position is financed by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation, DFG) via the project Modelltheorie bewerteter Körper mit Endomorphismus and via Germany’s Excellence Strategy EXC 2044–390685587, Mathematics Münster: Dynamics–Geometry–Structure. I am also a member, and spokeperson, of the Mathematics Münster Graduate School.

Contacts: you can write me an email, call me at +49 251 83-36871 or find me on Twitter. My office is Room 110.021, Orléans Ring 10, 48149 Münster.
