Data Talks is a series of talks between experts from Brazil and Germany who discuss the use of public data in today’s society. Data Talks is an initiative from Jessica Voigt, former German Chancellor Fellow by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. The project is supported by the Brazil Centre from the University of Münster in the framework of the strategic partnership project wwu.usp, funded by the DAAD.  Stay up to date on periodic postings by accessing the Data Talks Blog which complements the Data Talks Series.
Every episode is available in English with Portuguese subtitles on the Data Talks YouTube channel, and also in podcast format on Spotify. The transcription in English and the Portuguese translations are available at the Data Talks website

PhD Hospitality Network – host.link.exchange

The housing situation in Münster adds an extra hurdle at the beginning of the PhD – in particular for those coming from abroad. Our plan is to establish a network of doctoral candidates (international and German), who would like to support their newly arrived peers with a couch or another accommodation opportunity or house hunting support for a few days (you decide how long).

  • If you have some extra room, a sleeping couch, would like to sublet your room (now or in the future), have any contacts regarding an available apartment, or some energy to support a peer looking for accommodation, we appreciate if you sign up for our network so we can contact you or click here.
This temporary solution is a good opportunity to help and give back to others and we highly appreciate your help!
