Conceptual develpment of services for international doctoral candidates, PhD Buddy Programme, Inchbyinch - global community garden, MünsterXChange

Sabine offers general advice for international doctoral candidates (questions about PhD application, visa, enrolment, living in Münster, conflicts). She is also organising welcome and networking events, designing and delivering transferable skills workshops (analytical and cognitive skills) for junior researchers, and evaluating old as well as creating new projects and services.

Sabine believes that good advice is something more than simply providing information. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, non-judgmental and supportive environment for the University’s international doctoral candidates. In her role as advisor at the WWU Graduate Centre, she leads doctoral candidates through the jungle of new rules, places and opportunities both within and outside the University.

In her free time, Sabine tries to grow vegetables, philosophise with children, understand how logical thinking affects us, discover the world around her, and learn how to travel in a sustainable way.

Specialty: Sabine holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Migration Studies (Copenhagen University), a Master’s degree in Philosophy with a specialization in epistemology, metaphysics, and philosophy of cognition (Aarhus University), and a Bachelors degree in Mathematics (Münster University).
