Ready to learn how to turn a long, complex doctorate into manageable chunks? This workshop equips you with essential project management skills tailored to the unique demands of a doctorate. On Day 1, you’ll dive into the fundamentals – exploring both traditional and agile project management concepts, logic, and tools to help you track progress effectively. Day 2 focuses on time and task management strategies, identifying and mitigating risks to keep your research on track, and engaging key stakeholders such as supervisors. Through practical exercises and reflection, you will explore hands-on techniques to manage your doctorate efficiently and confidently.

Objectives:

  • Define and plan your doctorate as a project
  • Use project management tools to organise tasks, timelines, and deliverables
  • Apply time management strategies to your own research projects
  • Explore practical tips on how to identify and mitigate risks to your research progress

Registration

Registration starts on 13 September at 7pm and ends on 21 November due to organisational reasons. Cancellation deadline: 24 November at 10am. Case deadline: 28 November at 11am.

If you would like to participate in this event and it is already marked as fully booked, you are welcome to join the waiting list. It often happens that registered participants cancel their attendance, which creates available spots. Free spots are allocated in the order of waiting list registrations. If spots become available within 72 hours before the event starts, we will notify several registrants simultaneously. These spots will then be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
