Die GI-Regionalgruppe Münsterland lädt in Kooperation mit der DOAG-Hochschul-Regionalgruppe Münster zum Vortrag „Software Engineering in der Automobil-Industrie“ von Herrn Dr. Peter Schiele, BMW Group München, Abteilung Funktions-und Softwareentwicklung E-Antrieb, ein. Der Vortrag findet statt am 18. November 2015, um 18:00 Uhr, im Raum Leo 2, im Gebäude Leonardo-Campus 10, in Münster. Inhalt Software-Entwicklung hat in den letzten 15 Jahren ein enormes Wachstum in der Automobil-Industrie verzeichnet und ist zu einem wichtigen Betätigungsfeld für Informatiker/innen geworden. In der Vorlesung werden die einzelnen Anwendungsdomänen im Fahrzeugantrieb, Fahrwerk, Information & Kommunikation sowie Fahrerassistenzsysteme vorgestellt und die spezifischen Anforderungen an die Software-Entwicklung anhand von Beispielen dargestellt. In Grundzügen wird darüber hinaus das weit verbreitete Betriebssystem Autosar vorgestellt. Kurzvita Dr. Peter Schiele is responsible for Function and Software Development at electrical powertrain. He is computer scientist and did his PhD at BMW with focus on simulation of distributed software. He worked for seven years as project leader at body electronics with focus on central electronics, roof and seat control. From 2011 on Mr. Schiele was responsible for software projects and software integration at driver assistance and chassis systems. Since mid of 2014 he is responsible for the function and software development at electrical powertrain.
