Michael Lenzinger (TU Dortmund): Regularization limits for two-phase flow in porous media and phase evolution in shape memory alloys

In the first part of the talk we present the degenerate two-phase flow problem with outflow boundary conditions. With the help of maximum principles we discuss the limit of an appropriate regularization in terms of variational inequalities. In the second part we consider a model for viscoplastic phase evolution in shape memory alloys. We show that the limit of vanishing viscosity yields the corresponding elastoplastic evolution in terms of complementary inequalities.
