    The first manuscript from our group has just been accepted for publication by Chemistry – A European Journal. We report a synthetic method that enables the direct β-C–H arylation of aliphatic carboxylic acids. Well done Kiron!

    In June 2016 Manuel received the Otto Hahn Award of the Max Planck Society. This award enables the recipient to lead a small indepentend research group at a Max Planck Institute of his choice. Through a collaboration between the WWU and the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion, the Otto Hahn Group „Catalyst Controlled Selective Transformations and Ligand Design“ is located in the Organic Chemistry Institute in Münster. Update (17.1.2017): The start of our Group has been highlighted in press releases by the WWU and the MPI CEC!
