Qualification Program

The aim of the IRTG teaching curriculum is the transfer of scientific competences that will − building on a standard Bachelor/Master course − significantly increase the IRTG students’ knowledge of current research in general and of the developments relevant to their respective research topic in particular. The doctoral students will attend a series of lectures and seminars, which  are  not  part  of  the  normal  doctoral  students  teaching  curriculum. These lectures are specifically designed for training of the IRTG doctoral students.

The course program of the IRTG will provide junior scientists with key-qualifications that are not part of the normal course of doctoral studies. Participation in the teaching program is mandatory for all IRTG students (funded  and  associated  members). The course program is also open to visiting students from Toronto working in laboratories in Münster. In addition, participation in selected courses will, space provided, be offered to all doctoral students of the faculty of chemistry and pharmacy in Münster.
