The Cells in Motion Interfaculty Centre – an interfaculty research institution at the University of Münster – brings together and supports researchers from medicine, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, mathematics, computer science and physics. They join forces and carry out research relating to topics in “cell dynamics and imaging” – which is a research focus at Münster University. Thanks to the cooperation within the interfaculty network new interdisciplinary questions are identified that contribute to further developing the research focus. Embedded in this network is the CiM-IMPRS Graduate Programme, the Imaging Network which promotes the joint use and sustainable further development of research infrastructure at Münster University, and the Multiscale Imaging Centre, a research building where research groups from different faculties carry out research under one roof.
