Formel M, Exhibition Duisburg, October 26-28, 2008
Themed 'Formel M: Mathematics for Innovation and Energy Research', the public event took place in the 'Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord'. 'Formel M' drew experts together to discuss their research in progress as well as it encouraged pupils and interested people to get an inside in the role of mathematics as a driving force for technical innovation. Background of the seminar were the support programs 'Mathematics for Innovation in Industry and Services' and 'Network Basic Research for Renewable Energies and Efficient Energy Converter'. The program of the event involved talks, a mathematics show with TV-moderator Ranga Yogeshwar and a public exhibition for pupils. Our work group participated in the latter one, where we presented the project AdaptHydroMod.
