What are the goals of the Innovationslabor Münsterland?

The aim of the Innovationslabor Münsterland (ILM) is to advise, support and accompany knowledge and technology-based business ideas from universities and research institutions as well as innovative young companies. In addition, the project team strives to raise awareness of the issue of start-ups and is working on the development of sustainable support and network structures. During the project period until October 2020, 8-10 start-up projects per year can be accompanied and supported by a coach during the implementation and growth phase. The ILM can be used for 12 months, there are 2 runs each year. Participation is free of charge.

How long can I use the Innovationslabor Münsterland?

Admitted ILM participants can take advantage of this for a total of 12 months.

What is the added value as a participant?

In the 12 months in which you can make use of the ILM, a coach will be at your side as your central contact. An individual timetable tailored to your situation and needs is developed by the offered academy program, which is composed of consulting and knowledge formats, teaching formats and network formats. At the same time, special offers for women are offered. Mentors and business angels can also be supported. Networks is central: as ILM participants, you benefit from the network structures of the project partners that have been jointly established for many years and can use the synergies of the current start-up landscape in Münsterland.

Who supports the Innovationslabor Münsterland?

The Innovationslabor Münsterland is one of five innovation laboratories in North Rhine-Westphalia and is financed by the state and ERDF funds (European Regional Development Fund).

Who are the project partners of the Innovationslabor Münsterland?

The ILM project team consists of the following partners: Münster University of Applied Sciences (Lead Partner), Technologieförderung Münster GmbH (TFM), Research Transfer Office (AFO) of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and Wirtschafts- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft Steinfurt (WESt).
