Channels of science communication

If you work or study at the University of Münster:
We put you in touch with "outside" contacts to generate public interest in your research findings, meet business partners and turn your ideas and patents into practical application. At our consultation for inventors, we provide you with personalised and competent advice.
We offer Idea Mining sessions which are both fun and helpful, fostering contacts to members in all faculties and potential future employers. What's more – you can even earn credit points!
We can assist you if you want to start your own company, become self-employed, or seek financial or conceptual support as a new start-up.

If you are a participant in commerce or industry:
We put you contact with the right person at the University if you are looking for new developments, are interested in information on scientific advances, have concrete questions or require solutions to specific problems.
Our Idea Mining sessions generate creative approaches to emerging challenges and produce new ideas for advertising, sales and products.
We especially promote small- to mid-sized businesses around the region and contribute to building a structure of exchange and mutual support. How about joining us on a best-practice tour?

If you are a resident of Münster or the Münsterland:
We get you better acquainted with the University of Münster. Have you ever wondered what ideas are being cooked up in our laboratories and libraries? Our science communication team fosters dialogue between the University and the city of Münster. During our Expedition Münsterland events, participants visit the most important science venues in Münsterland and gain insights into university research activities around the region. Together with University scientists, interested residents embark on a research expedition in search of scientific clues.
