University of Münster welcomes 141 international students

International Office informs about studying and living in Münster

The University of Münster welcomes 141 international exchange students for the new summer semester. 92 of them have already arrived and are taking part in the "Welcome Week", which started on 18 March, during which the International Office provides information about studying and living in Münster. The majority of the international students are taking part in the European Union's Erasmus exchange programme. However, so-called "Incomings" from non-European countries also study at the University of Münster for one or two semesters.

In addition to the exchange students, 35 international students will start at Münster University in the summer semester who want to do their full Bachelor's, Master's or state examination studies. Until the start of lectures in April, most of them attend an intensive language course at the Language Centre.

Most of the exchange students this time come from Turkey or Italy. However, students from Japan, Chile, Australia, South Korea and many other countries are also represented. As part of the "Buddy Programme", more than 200 students from Münster support all international students, especially in getting to know the university and the city.
