China NRW University Alliance

The University of Münster is a member of the China NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia) University Alliance, set up in 2006. Its aim is to strategically network German-Chinese collaborations. The universities involved are:

  • Wuppertal

Coordination is undertaken by the University of Cologne, which in 2005 took on the role of a central agency for setting up relationships between China and universities in North Rhine-Westphalia. Since 2007 there has been an additional service bureau in the “German Centre” in Beijing.
