ERASMUS programme for visiting academics
As part of an agreement within the ERASMUS programme, visiting academics can come to teach at Münster University for between one and six weeks. Times and teaching content are always agreed with the project partner in the respective university department or with Münster University’s International Office. Financial support for the stay at Münster University has to be applied for at the visitor’s home university, as ERASMUS funding to promote mobility among lecturers is always provided by the delegating institution.German Academic Exchange Service: visiting lecturers programme
The visiting lecturers programme of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) funds lectureships by particularly qualified foreign university teachers. Short-term scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service
Support for academics by a department at Münster University can be provided in the form of a short-term scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service, valid for a maximum of three months. Project-related exchange of staff
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers 30 programmes involving a so-called project-related exchange of people. The aim of the programme is to promote collaboration between German and international academics. The programmes are open to all academic disciplines. DAAD’s international study and training partnerships
The international study and training partnerships (ISAP) organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) are institutional structures for cooperation between German and foreign universities. Integrated German-Brazilian courses of study (UNIBRAL)
UNIBRAL is a programme for collaboration between Brazilian and German universities. It was agreed by the Education Ministries of both countries and is run by the German Academic Exchange Service and its Brazilian partner organization CAPES. As a result of the exchange of German and Brazilian students, post-docs and professors, UNIBRAL makes wide-ranging collaboration possible between two courses of study, subjects or faculties in Brazil and Germany.Click here for the programme on integrated German-Brazilian courses of study
Fulbright Commission
The Fulbright Commission is a German-American Commission for the exchange of students and lecturers between Germany and the USA. There are various programmes for post-docs and professors.More information on the Fulbright programme
