Financial support
Scholarship databases
There are a number of scholarship databases where academics can find information on funding a research stay abroad.- "Forsch und Fahr" ("Research and Go") is a Münster University search engine for trips by academics from the University with (at least) a PhD. This search engine is available in the intranet.
Click here for the "Forsch und Fahr" website - The German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst, DAAD) has its own scholarship database for visiting academics. The database contains information on funding for foreign students, graduates and post-docs as well as on other selected funding organizations.
Click here for the DAAD website - EURAXESS Deutschland, an information portal maintained by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation also has a database with information on financial support. It is aimed both at researchers who want to come to Germany and at German researchers who return to Germany after a longer stay abroad.
