International Office
The International Office at Münster University coordinates the university`s international relations and is the contact for any questions you may have regarding international aspects of teaching and research. Among other things, the office is responsible for providing advice and support to international academics.

Family Service Bureau
The Family Service Bureau acts as an agency and gives advice, focusing on the specific situation of university employees engaged in research, teaching and administration. The aim is to make it easier for all staff at Münster University to combine work and family life. The Family Service Bureau also helps to find child-minding facilities for children during school holidays.

Assistance provided by the International Centre "Die Brücke" ("The Bridge")
The International Offices Welcome Centre arranges for assistance to be given to foreign guests by students from the International Centre "Die Brücke" ("The Bridge"). For example, the students help guests to sort out formalities after they arrive in Münster. The assistance includes
- accompanying guests to the Foreigners Registration Office
- accompanying guests to the bank (to open an account)
- accompanying guests to get health insurance

Hospitality Programme of the "Inner Wheel Club"
The "Inner Wheel Club" helps to look after visiting academics and their families in Münster. The hospitality programme includes guided tours of the city, visits to museums, shopping trips, cycle tours and private invitations to peoples homes. The Inner Wheel is an international womens association and was founded in England in 1924. Today it has 100,000 members in almost 100 countries and is one of the largest of its kind in the world.

Dual Career Service
The Dual Career Service at Münster University focuses on the specific situation and needs of dual-career couples and provides support for the spouses/partners of newly appointed professors in finding suitable employment either inside or outside the university. The Dual Career Service
- helps guest families to find their feet in Münster
- discusses with the spouse/partner what they would like to do work-wise
- helps to make contacts in the desired field of work
- helps with job applications
Unfortunately, jobs cannot be found directly through the Dual Career Service – but it offers active help and support at all stages of looking and applying for a job.
