Guesthouses for visiting academics

The guesthouses for visiting academics are about 20 minutes walking distance from the city centre, close by Lake Aa. There is a also a good bus connection. Every year over 100 international academics use the accommodation offered in Alexander von Humboldt House and Europa House.

The following are available:

•    27 single-bed apartments
•    16 twin-bed apartments
•    4 three-bed apartments
•    2 single-bed apartments suitable for disabled guests
•    1 four-bed apartment

In Alexander von Humboldt House there are also various reception rooms, a lecture room and two other representative rooms which are not only used for conferences and seminars but which also, in particular, serve to bring together people from different countries.

As demand is heavy we would ask you to contact us as soon as possible for a reservation. Apartments are assigned by Münster University’s International Office.
International Office

Should it not be possible to offer accommodation in one of the guesthouses the International Office will be pleased to help you find suitable private accommodation. Please also ask the institute you are visiting whether they can help you find accommodation.

If guests arrive outside office hours, someone from the Institute looking after them should collect the keys from Carmen Fleischmann in the Facility Management offices.
