Welcome Week, Tutoring Programme and Free time Activities

At the beginning of each semester, the International Office at Münster University organizes a Welcome Week for all ERASMUS students and other exchange students, during which important facilities and formalities regarding studying and living in Münster are explained. Exchange students can also contact tutors, who answer questions and give assistance in getting acquainted with Münster and the university.

Freetime Activities for Exchange Students

During the semester the ERASMUS team organizes a lot of free time activities, enabling exchange students to get to know the city and the university and to meet both German and international students. All the events and activities on offer are published on the Erasmus team’s website, where anyone interested can also make contact with students who are already studying in Münster.

Sport and Culture

Every semester courses covering over a hundred different types of sports are offered by Münster University Sports. On the cultural side the university also has a lot to offer: choirs, orchestras, theatre groups and students’ radio – in addition to regular exhibitions, concerts and readings.
