Language Requirements and Language Courses

Requirements

Studying in Germany provides a good opportunity to improve your German language skills. Exchange students should remember that teaching at German universities is mostly carried in German. There are only a few lectures which are held in English. So anyone who wants to get the most out of seminars and lectures right from the beginning should work on their German skills before they arrive in Münster.

Another option is to attend a language course in the first semester in Münster and then go on to attend seminars and lectures in the second semester.

Language Courses and Language Tandem

There is a wide variety of German language courses on offer at Münster University’s foreign language centre.
