STRUCTURED DOCTORAL DISSERTATIONS / GRADUATE SCHOOLS AT MÜNSTER UNIVERSITY
Graduate Schools offer junior academics the opportunity to complete a doctoral degree within three years as part of a structured programme. Applications should be sent to the relevant Graduate School direct, where you can get information on the formalities and the documents needed.
For international graduates
If you have already completed a course of study in your home country you will, as a rule, also be able to write a doctoral dissertation in Germany. However, not every type of degree gained abroad entitles the holder to start on a higher course of study
Before you apply to write a doctoral dissertation at Münster University you must have yourself graded in the relevant course. For this purpose all credits received and examinations taken must be recognized. The Graduate Schools and the University’s International Office can provide further information on this.
