Since June 2008 Münster University has been certified as a family-friendly university. The award honours the efforts the university has made in its personnel policy and in the way it organizes thec studies to be more family-friendly. The first stop is the creation of a dedicated family portal providing information and advice for students and staff with children.

Childcare facilities: schools and nursery schools

Good childcare facilities are a must if you want to be at your job full-time. Münster University on childcare provides information but also has two day-care centres. In addition, the city of Münster not only runs a general information service on what’s available for children and teenagers, and also provides relevant facilities.
