Dear Pupils, Parents and Teachers,

On Sunday, 2 September 2018, the University of Münster will hold its third annual Vocational Training Day, during which we will present our multifaceted vocational training programme.

I look forward to welcoming you all to the University of Münster!

During the day between 11 am and 3 pm, we wish to show you – our prospective trainees – that the University of Münster is not only renowned for its excellence in research, but also offers a broad range of high-quality vocational training opportunities.

The goal of Vocational Training Day is to introduce you, your parents and interested teachers to the vocational training activities of the University of Münster. We wish to present an overview of the diverse occupations and training options available to you, and in this way, help you choose a profession suited to your interests and skills.

I urge you to take advantage of the complete range of information offered at Vocational Training Day. Use the opportunity to speak with the trainers and current trainees in person. They can give you first-hand information about vocational training at the University of Münster and specific insights into individual occupations.

Become "vocational researchers" and discover the diverse range of training opportunities at the University of Münster – some of which you may not have yet considered.

I would like to thank the organisational team, the trainers and current trainees whose hard work and commitment ensure that Vocational Training Day can be offered at the University of Münster.

I wish you all an eventful Vocational Training Day, enlightening conversations and positive impressions.

Matthias Schwarte, Head of Administration of the University of Münster
