Multimedia workstations
The ZIV provides two multimedia rooms, each with three computers. Thus, there are six multimedia workstations in total. In both rooms there also are PLANet connections (USB and Twisted Pair) for using private notebooks.
How can I book a multimedia workstation?
Workstations for scanning, located in the user support facilities, are available during opening hours and without reservation. In normal operation (when there are no practical trainings) members of the WWU can reserve a multimedia workstation for half a day. If you would like to book a workstation, please make use of the online form.
Who can answer my question about using the devices?
First, the ZIV's websites contain instruction manuals (german) supporting users in applying multimedia devices. Both, the devices and their possible applications, are described comprehensively and in way beginners can understand. Furthermore, some topics are presented in such a way, that they might be of general interest. If you still have questions the websites do not deal with, the multimedia team will be happy to assist you. Of course, experiences and suggestions are always welcome as well.
Equipment
Each workstation is equipped with
- two computer monitors (one for instructions),
