Setting up your WLAN
Connection
Preconditions:
You have a WLAN compatible terminal device at your disposal (laptop, PDA, some mobile phones) which supports WPA. This should be the case for all laptops produced in recent years. Further preconditions for using the university's WLAN are a user's ID of the ZIV and a password for network access. You can get a user's ID at the ZIV (MeinZIV) or from your tutor for the duration of a course. The password for network access can also be set up in the users' portal MeinZIV.
Choose an operating system for which you want to set up WLAN. The directions will lead you to our ZIVwiki, which is permanently updated. There can also be found directions to systems that are not listed here in the ZIVwiki. (Not all manuals are translated, but we're working on it)
