You are cordially invited to the

4th International TRR 61 Symposium

Münster, 12th - 13th May, 2011

- They meet again:
Chinese and German researchers of the TRR61 -

Programme

The 4th international meeting of the Transregional Collaboration Research Centre TRR61 'Multilevel Molecular Assemblies: Structure, Dynamics and Function‘ will take place in Münster, May 12th and 13th, 2011.
Since 2008 about 100 scientists, senior scientists, PhD students and post doctoral students are successfully working within the  Sino-German research collaboration. The project currently enters the last year of the initial funding period. Thus, the annual symposium provides an appropriate platform to personally discuss results achieved and upcoming challenges regarding the common topics of self assemblies.

Specifically the multidisciplinarity of the project is a demanding task as people from chemistry, biology, physics and material sciences are involved. This also is reflected in the programme and the topics of the invited speakers: Marcel Mayor from Basel University, Switzerland, will give a lecture on 'Tailor-made Molecules in Physical Experiments‘ and Rainer Herges from Kiel University will talk about 'Dynamic Machine-like Function at the Molecular Level‘.

We are looking forward to an interesting meeting certainly resulting in lots of new ideas and new collaborations.
