GIF Regular Program
The GIF Regular Program supports cooperative research projects conducted jointly by German and Israeli scientists. Each project should include at least one team from each country. GIF projects shall concern science and technology for peaceful purposes only. Both basic and applied research projects in all areas will be considered equally with no predetermined quotas. Projects are funded for a period of 3 years, with a total budget of up to EUR 200,000, and the option of an extension of up to one year subject to approval by GIF. Applications in the Program are accepted in alternating submission cycles. Submissions of proposals in 2013 are open in Exact Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Material Sciences, Technology (Engineering), Mathematics, Computer sciences, Geo-Earth and Environmental Sciences.
Humanities: History, Archaeology, Literature, Philosophy and related fields.
Deadline: 1st August 2013 – 1st November 2013
