Postdoctoral/Research Associate (TV-L 13)
to work on either of the following projects: 1) Regulation of epithelial differentiation by class IX myosins; 2) Regulation of immune cell migration in inflammatory diseases by a class IX myosin; 3) Determination of single molecule motor properties of class IX myosins; 4) Analysis of spatio-temporal activities of class IX myosin-RhoGAP in living cells. Appropriate experiences for one of the projects are required. We are a dynamic and well equipped group. An adequate participation in teaching obligations of the group is expected. Starting date is April 1, 2010 or later. The position is available initially for 2 years with the possibility of extension. Candidates should hold a PhD degree and be highly motivated to independently advance a research project.
