The MEET Battery Research Center at the University of Münster is seeking to fill the post of a
(salary level TV-L E13, 50%)
in the Cell System group
This part-time position amounts to a weekly working time of 19 hours and 55 minutes. This is a postgraduate position with the possibility of a doctorate, and it is set to end on 14 July 2020.
Range of tasks:
The successful candidate will be expected to investigate how ageing mechanisms affect cell performance and safety. In addition, they will perform cell building and electrochemical investigations, perform analytics (using GC-MS, SEM, laser microscope, micro indentation, ICP-OES, NMR, IR, RAMAN, XPS, XRD, and TGA, etc.), and develop methods for quantitative analysis of battery materials.
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in chemistry and have outstanding grades. They must also be independent, reflective, structured, and have clean working habits. Additionally, applicants must be highly self-motivated and team minded, and they must possess good English skills. Finally, expertise in above-mentioned tasks is advantageous.
