Natural products and bioorganic chemistry: Biosynthesis of porphyrins, synthesis of
novel porphyrinoids, macrocyclic aromatic compounds, photomedical applications of
porphyrins and other photosensitizers. Isolation, synthesis and biosynthesis of
biologically active compounds from mould fungi. Biomimetic syntheses. Syntheses of
labelied precursors.
