Location: Attention! Important change!

Because of stuctural fire protection requirements the University main building will not be available during March 2008.

Therefore the International Polar meeting will take place in the Fürstenberghaus (detailed map), Am Domplatz 20-22, 48143 Münster. The  city map indicates the Fürstenberghaus at No. 3. It is situated beside the cathedral of Münster.

You need a 5 minutes walk from the university main building (Schloss) to the Fürstenberghaus.

The meeting will take place in Münster, Germany from March 10 to 14, 2008. It will be hosted by the Institute for Geophysics of the University of Münster (Prof. Dr. Manfred Lange).

The meeting locations and the hotels are situated in the city center of Münster.

 
 

Program notes:

 

The scientific program is open for all topics of Polar research.

All paticipants are invited to the Icebreaker Party in the Archaeological Museum (Am Domplatz 20 - 22, 48143 Münster) on Sunday,  March 9, 2008 at 6 pm. The museum is also situated in the Fürstenberghaus.

The official opening of the meeting will be in the 2nd floor of the Fürstenberghaus (city map, no 3) on March 10, 2008  at 9:30 am.
