Background
I obtained B.Sc degree in chemistry (cum laude) 2005 from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) – Indonesia. Afterward I worked for 2 years as deputy manager in the spin-off university company (Integrated Laboratory IPB-Indonesia) which specialized on environmental and material analysis.
In 2007 I got scholarship from European Commission under "Molecular Nano and Biophotonic" (Monabiphot) Erasmus Mundus Master program. During the courses, I had the opportunities to study at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan (ENS Cachan) - France, and Complutense University of Madrid – Spain. In 2008, I spent 3 month summer internship at Laboratory of Catalysis and Organic Synthesis (LCSO) EPFL- Switzerland under the guidance of Prof. Jerome Waser. For my master research, I joined the group of Prof. Luisa De Cola at Westfälische Wilhlems-Universität (WWU) Münster - Germany. My topic of research was to design and synthesized new class of blue iridium complexes.
After finished my master program, I received a fellowship from NRW Graduate School of Chemistry WWU Münster – Germany (GSC-MS) to conduct PhD research under the supervision of Prof. Luisa De Cola starting from October 2009.
Current Research
My current research is to design and develops self assembling methods of luminescent organometallic complexes to form ordered nanostructures. I also work on blue emitters as part of BMBF project.
