Individual doctoral projects

Structured PhD programme

Junior researchers can earn their PhD within three years by participating in a structured doctoral programme, e.g. the Graduate Schools "Empirical and Applied Linguistics", "Practices of Literature" and the "Münster School of Ancient Cultures".

Münster Centre for Emerging Researchers

The Centre for Emerging Researchers (CERes) is a central institution for PhDs and postdocs at the University of Münster. The CERes offers advisory services, workshops and comprehensive tips regarding academic qualification. The team advises you on PhD opportunities and provides you with cross-disciplinary assistance during your doctoral studies (self and project management, academic writing and presenting). Moreover, the services extend to the planning of a future academic or non-academic career.
