    Ich habe keine besonderen Sprechzeiten. Soweit andere dienstliche Aufgaben es zulassen bin ich jederzeit ansprechbar. Einfach bei mir im Raum 204 vorbeikommen und probieren ob es gerade passt. Einfacher ist es natürlich vorher einen Termin zu vereinbaren. Viele Fragen lassen sich auch per e-mail klären. Kontaktaufnahme ist jederzeit möglich.

  • Forschunginteressen

    Metamorphe Petrologie (mit Schwerpunkt auf Hochdruck-Metamorphose) und Geochronologie (Rb-Sr, Sm-Nd, U-Pb, Ar-Ar)

    Ziel meiner Forschungsarbeiten ist es, die magmatische und tektonometamorphe Entwicklung von unterschiedlichen Krustensegmenten zu ermitteln und eindeutig definierte Stadien komplexer P-T-t-d Pfade zu datieren. Die geologische Signifikanz der Altersdaten wird durch die Kombination von unterschiedlichen Isotopensystemen (Rb-Sr, Sm-Nd, U-Pb, Ar-Ar)und detaillierte Charakterisierung der datierten Phasen (z.B. Mikrosonden-Untersuchungen an Mineralseparaten, LA-ICP-MS, SEM, CL) überprüft und dokumentiert. Die Bestimmung des Gesamtgesteinschemismus zielt darauf ab, metasomatische Veränderungen während der Metamorphose/Deformation zu erfassen und die Bedeutung solcher Veränderungen für die Interpretation geochronologischer Datensätze zu ermitteln.

    Regionale Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind die Kykladen (Griechenland), der Iran (Sistan Suture Zone, Sanandaj-Sirjan Zone), Neukaledonien und Tadschikistan. Frühere Projekte konzentrierten sich auf die Sudeten (Polen, Tschechische Republik), Norwegen, den Tienshan (China), Süd-Indien, Oman, Kalabrien (Italien), die Antarktis (Wilson terrane) und Kalifornien (Franciscan Complex).
