The Münsterland has a broad and unique network of legal activities. Courts, universities, advocacy and industry of the region meet at the Legal Research Society (“Juristische Studiengesellschaft”).
The association ‘Juristische Studiengesellschaft” , based in Muenster was reestablished in 1949 with the aim of introducing the legal practice with scientific development in the areas, which are of importance for the legal life. Addressed are the numerous lawyers and all interested parties at the Westphalian Wilhelms-University, the courts and and authorities, as much as lawyers working in companies in and around Münster . In particular, the interaction of young lawyers at the national and international levels is encouraged. The Legal Research Society Münster currently has about 350 members.
