Organization of the Graduate School of Politics
The Graduate School of Politics is an institution of the Institute of Political Science of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, which with its approximately 1,900 students, is one of the largest political science research centres in Germany. The GraSP is headed by the board of directors which is composed of three professors and two doctoral students of the GraSP. The board of directors makes decisions on the establishment of research groups and the acceptance of new members, it mediates in conflicts between doctoral students and the mentoring team and is involved in the conception of the GraSP.
The management of the GraSP is the responsibility of Dr. Matthias Freise, who is also the contact for all questions concerning the GraSP. Furthermore, Dr. Freise is responsible for the conception of the curriculum and represents the GraSP in the smartNETWORK. He is assisted by Jana Bömer, student assistant at the GraSP.
