Poster instructions

One author of the poster must be present at the corresponding poster session.

Posters should be DIN A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm, 33.11” x 46.81”, vertical format). Please leave a 2 cm (0.79”) margin.

Your poster should include title, authors, affiliations, abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions, literature references, acknowledgements and contact information.

All text should be legible from about 1.5 meter away. Avoid too much text; use approximately 24 points text size. Components should be organized so that the reader can easily find the next section. Use colour to add emphasis and clarity. Make illustrations simple and bold.

Handouts of your poster abstracts (DIN A4, 210 x 297 mm, 8.27” x 11.69”) should be available for interested viewers, preferably as color print-outs (do not forget an envelope to be fixed under your poster for this).

Upon arrival please put up your poster at the provided display board with the number corresponding to the number of your poster in the book of abstracts. Posters should be displayed throughout the meeting. There will be two poster sessions with different themes. You are requested to be present at your poster for one hour on the day of your session.

Computer display equipment, sound or projection equipment, or freestanding displays are not permitted.

You may not write, paint, or use paste on the display board. Please use adhesive strips to attach your poster to the board. These strips will be provided at the poster session.
