Zur Lagerung und Handhabung von fotografischen Materialien gibt es eine Reihe von Normen, die von der International Organization for Standardization (ISO) herausgegeben werden. Im Zuge der technischen und chemischen Entwicklungen in der Fotografie und aufgrund der wachsenden Erkenntnisse über diese Materialien werden die Normen regelmäßig, mindestens einmal alle fünf Jahre, aktualisiert.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) publishes a number of standards for the storage and handling of photographic materials. Due to the technical and chemical evolution of photography and our increasing understanding of these materials, the standards are updated regularly, at least once every five years.
