New annual report of the Käte Hamburger Kolleg published
The Käte Hamburger Kolleg "Legal Unity and Pluralism" has published its annual report for the year 2023. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the Kolleg's activities, fellows, research, events and publications over the past year.
One focus is on the numerous conferences that characterised the Kolleg's year. Academic workshops, "Conceptual Forums" and, last but not least, the large annual conference in September were places of fruitful exchange across disciplinary boundaries. In addition, the report contains many interviews with fellows about their respective research projects, ranging from Roman inheritance law to foreigner legislation in colonial India. They offer fascinating insights into the diversity of research topics and questions being investigated at the Kolleg.
