The NMR spectroscopy laboratory is equipped
with several superconducting magnet systems working at 200, 300, 400,
500 and 600 MHz.
The
high field of the Agilent DD2 600 and its equipment, including
four channels, several probes, offers
most of the advanced NMR-techniques. The VNMRS 500 spectrometer from Agilent is equipped to measure all kinds of
X-nuclei experiments. A special probe
with a 1H/19F inner and a double tuned 13C
and 1H/19F outer coil enables us to study 1H/19F
interactions in organic and metallorganic compounds. The Bruker AV300
works with a BBFO-probe and a sample changer. The Bruker AV400, also
working in sample changer mode, is optimized for the measurement of
inverse detected 2D-NMR-spectra. Both spectrometer are equipped with
automatic Tuning and Matching.
All NMR data are provided on a central server.
The group performs the NMR service for the different research groups
of the institute, but is also engaged in aiding the solution of structural
problems of other faculties inside the university. The group is prepared
to organize NMR-training courses for graduate students.
