• Teaching Award of the University of Münser: In 2003, Prof. Dr. Jens Leker, director of the IfbM, was awarded with the Teaching Award of the University of Münster, which is endowed with 300.00 EUR, for his extraordinary commitment and exemplary achievements in University teaching.
• Several times (last 2012) lectures of the IfbM were awarded with the “Goldenen Brendel” by the student representatives for outstanding courses.
