Our laboratory has a long standing interest in understanding how transcription factors control the proliferation and differentiation of eukaryotic cells. In our current projects we are focusing mainly on the members of the Myb and C/EBP transcription factor families. More recently, we have also begun to study the molecular biology of the Pdcd4 gene, a novel tumor suppressor gene. For more information on some of our research projects see panel below:
