A.5.10 Assessment Center and Job Interview (2 LP)

It is never too early to prepare yourself for job interviews and Assessment Centers (ACs), two very popular job selection tools. This workshop aims to help students and graduates who are willing to further strengthen their competences in order to succeed in job interviews and ACs.

This workshop combines theories and practices in a fine balance. In addition to learn about the theoretical background of HR management you will also have many practical challenges to solve, both individually and in a group setting. Through those exercises, you will be able to understand the basic principles of ACs, what the critical success factors are and how to identify them, why it is so important to thoroughly study the job advertisements.

In addition, you will have the experience of playing double roles: being a candidate as well as being an interviewer/assessor. This complete circle of giving and receiving constructive feedback will enable you to gain deeper understanding on what ACs are really about, what assessors are looking for and how to win them over.

The workshop will be in English.
