Careers Service - Münster University

Münster University’s Careers Service aims to provide guidance for students, helping them to find perspectives for their future.

When students learn how they can put their subject skills to good use in a career, when they can develop and properly present their individual profile, when they acquire specific additional skills, and also make contacts – that’s when opportunities open up for them.

Our intention is to provide support in this process of orientation by means of the programmes we offer in parallel to students’ studies. The earlier students make use of these programmes, the more successfully they can define their road ahead. And the clearer the prospects for the future, the greater an undergraduate’s motivation will be.

At the same time we want to enlist teaching staff for the University who can help to shape this process and establish, in their particular subjects, programmes running parallel to undergraduates’ courses.
And, naturally, we look for contacts to companies and employers who enable students to gain direct experience of the working world and offer concrete prospects to graduates.
