WiRe – Women in Research: Fellowships for female Postdocs

Amendment to the call: CAPES Brazil Chair at WWU

New application deadline: 17 March 2023 at 5 pm (BRT)/ 9 pm (CET)

On 22 December 2022, CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior) published an amendment of the call for applications for two Brazil Chairs on different topics at the University of Münster.

University of Münster and FAPESP publish new joint call for proposals SPRINT

As part of the FAPESP (São Paulo Researchers in International Collaboration) SPRINT funding program, the research funding organization FAPESP of the state of São Paulo and the University of Münster once again launched a joint call for proposals to support up to three (3) mobility projects between researchers from the University of Münster and the state of São Paulo in order to promote research collaboration.

Justice Gilmar Mendes and the IDP Academic Law Coordinator visit DWIH São Paulo

The Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and founder of the Brazilian Institute for Teaching, Development and Research (IDP), Gilmar Mendes, and the academic coordinator of the IDP's Faculty of Law, Raphael Carvalho, visited the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) São Paulo on 28 October at the invitation of the Brazil Centre of Münster University (WWU).

WWU receives representative of Brazil's largest funding agency CAPES

Director of International Affairs

On 27 October, WWU received the visit of Prof Lívia Pelli Palumbo, from the Directorate of International Affairs of the largest Brazilian funding agency CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior), with which a cooperation agreement on a Chair at WWU - the so-called Brazil Chair - has been in place since 2010.

The foundation of the new network "APOENA" was announced during the 2nd meeting of the “Brazilian Diaspora Science and Innovation" on 17 March 2022 at the Brazilian Embassy in Berlin.
