CASES OF HARDSHIP

In certain cases, specific life circumstances can threaten to make studying unusually difficult, for instance for students who…

·… have a disability or chronic illness; or

·… have young children to look after; or

·… are providing nursing care for close relatives.

The university offers several support structures to help such students to cope with their studies, for instance with regard to advisory services, timetable planning, etc. If you are facing such a case of hardship, please contact the English Department’s student advisory service for further information.
