Teaching at WWU.Transfer School expanded

In the context of the WWU.Transfer School, AFO has been offering courses on knowledge transfer as an integrated part of university teaching since 2008 – thus providing insights, across the disciplines, into the complex innovation systems that exist in business and society. In 2009 the teaching on offer was expanded. In addition to introductory block teaching on patents and property rights, setting up a company and information sourcing and knowledge management, seminars during semesters were also held on conflict management, mediation and leadership, with the aim of increasing participants’ communication skills. The WWU.Transfer School also serves as an example of good practice in the EU’s current ALFA project. For 2010 a joint seminar is being planned on communication in science in cooperation with Münster University of Applied Sciences and the Geosciences Department at WWU.
