Students become business(wo)men

“Starting my own business? – Me???” Often this is the first reaction by many students,  being confronted with this idea. Nevertheless, there are tremendous chances and opporunities starting an own business: for the public, the region and for the individual. It is the AFO’s goal to bring this message to the attention of a broader public.
There is a constant flow of highly trained, qualified and creative graduates leaving the WWU and starting their career in business or industry. Maybe not just after graduation, but very often at a later point in their career, former students of the WWU, coming from all disciplines, decide to become entrepreneurs.
In order to show that to-day company owners once were quite normal fellow students, the AFO initiated a series of articles in the regional daily newspaper Westfälische Nachrichten (WN), presenting entrepreneurs, who once were students at the WWU. The AFO especially would like to thank Karin Völker from the WN and all involved entrepreneurs for their cooperation.
