Ideas Mining

Ideas Mining is a product that WWU has been offering since 2003. Ideas Mining stands for creativity workshops (or think tanks) which are requested by a company or organization and performed on their premises. During these workshops interdisciplinary teams develop ideas on current corporate or organizational problems or issues.

The 12-strong teams are made up mostly of company employees, academics and students. The workshops are facilitated professionally and usually last for 5-6 hours.
Ideas Mining requires creativity as well as each participant’s idea-finding potential. What’s special about Ideas Mining is that synergy effects emerge from mutual creative stimulation within interdisciplinary teams. Through Idea Mining companies are able to access academic know-how and forge links with potential junior managers.

The English Think Tank 

Do you have a lot of bright, creative ideas? Do you want to have a platform to share them? This is your chance!

The AFO Innovation Office at the University of Münster invites you to participate in the second Ideas Mining Think Tank in English. This project brings together an interdisciplinary group including international participants and top professionals from academic and business environments. It’s a one-day session of fruitful discussion, brainstorming and generating new ideas with the involvement of professional facilitators.

As a participant you will get a unique opportunity to discuss a challenging topic in a highly creative atmosphere. The goal of the Think Tank is to come up with innovative solutions to enhance international perspectives to the University of Münster.
