EXIST-scholarship for business start-ups
The EXIST-grant for business start-ups is a program of the Federal Ministry for Economy and Technology (BMWi) and has continued its sponsorship through EXIST-SEED in 2012. It supports young entrepreneurs in- and outside universities, who wish to realize their ideas. The project is co-funded by the European Social Fund. The grant focuses on innovations of technology-based manufacturing companies, as well as knowledge-intensive services. The young entrepreneurs’ allowance is secured for one year; moreover, they are granted an amount for investments and additionally, coaching by the director of the AFO, Dr. Wilhelm Bauhus.
